Nordskills

You can fix it Nordskills workshops aim to provide self-sufficiency education modules focused on repair and reuse. The main emphasis is on repairing and reusing everyday items. A particular focus is placed on the repair and maintenance of clothing and textiles, but the workshops also cover other daily goods. The workshops vary in length and are designed according to the needs of participating schools.

Below you can have a look at some examples of ‘You can fix it’ Nordskills workshops carried out in the project by our partners:

Wool care and maintenance

During the collaboration with the Home Economics subject at Petlax lower secondary school in Malax, students learned how to maintain their own woolen clothes and various techniques for removing lint from clothing. This was a small part of the wider Into the Wild North workshop.
